Delete my account

Accounts exist only in the PlateProbe app. The website has no login, so browsing here leaves you nothing to delete.

In the app

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Under Your controls, tap Delete my account.
  3. Confirm. You have 7 days to change your mind.

By email

Write to support@plateprobe.com with the subject “Delete my account” and the mobile number on your account. We check it is you in a proportionate way and do not routinely ask for government ID. We reply within 30 days.

What happens

  • Straight away: your account closes and you are signed out everywhere.
  • After 7 days: your phone number, email and names are erased, and your profile, saved items, consents, referrals, notifications, sessions and codes are deleted.
  • Kept: the deletion record, and event and reward records with no personal details on the user record, under our log retention rule.
  • Backups: they age out, with everything gone within 42 days.
  • On your phone: your preferences are stored on the phone; uninstall the app or clear its data to remove them. Your My Plate saves are on your account and are deleted with it, as above.
