Who provides the service

PlateProbe is operated by PLATE PROBE PRIVATE LIMITED, KLJ Square, NH 48, Sector 83, Gurugram 122012, Haryana, India. These Terms cover the features actually available on our website and app. We present packaged-food information, independent assessments and ingredient explanations.

Your agreement

Browsing does not need an account. When you create an account in the app, we ask you to accept the Terms shown. Our Privacy notice explains how we handle personal data; reading it is not consent to unrelated uses. If you do not accept the Terms, do not create or use an account.

Adults only

You must be 18 or older to create an account or send us personal information. We do not offer child accounts or child health profiles. A person under 18 may view public information as a guest but must not register. Tell us about a suspected child account at support@plateprobe.com.

Accounts and My Plate

Sign-in in the app uses a one-time code sent to your mobile number. Keep access secure and tell us about suspected misuse. My Plate keeps the products you save on your account once you are signed in; saving is not a purchase, a reservation or a guarantee of availability. The website has no login today.

Our assessments

We separate what the manufacturer declares, what we calculate and what we conclude. A grade follows the published method and the label we read. It is our independent opinion. It is not an official FSSAI grade, a laboratory test, a legal compliance certificate or a guarantee that a food suits you.

Packs change

A product can change by market, batch or formulation. Check the physical pack in your hand, especially ingredients, allergens, preparation instructions and warnings. Missing information does not mean something is absent. If evidence is conflicting or incomplete, we may withhold a grade while we review it.

Health information

Our content is general consumer information. It is not a diagnosis, treatment, medication advice or a personal medical diet. A missing allergen line is not a guarantee against allergy or cross-contact. Seek professional advice for allergies, clinical conditions or prescribed diets.

Brands and images

Names and pack images identify the products we discuss. They do not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Rights in packaging artwork and photographs stay with their owners. Report an image or rights concern to support@plateprobe.com.

Prices and shops

Prices are those we saw on a shop on the date shown, and may have changed. We do not sell food. Prices, availability, delivery and refunds are the shop's. There are no buying links today and we earn no commission; if that changes we will label such links clearly. Payment never buys a grade.

Corrections and complaints

Spotted a mistake? Write to support@plateprobe.com, the one mailbox for grievances, product corrections and data requests. Brands use the same route, and corrections never depend on any commercial relationship. We reply within 7 days, and within 30 days for privacy and account matters. We consider genuine challenges to our method without promising a requested grade.

Fair use

Do not misuse accounts, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or carry out unauthorised bulk extraction of protected content. This does not remove rights the law gives you, and we do not claim to own raw product facts or stop legitimate scrutiny of our method.

Closing your account

You can delete your account in the app or by email; see Delete my account. We may restrict an account for a documented security or policy reason, with a way to ask for review.

Your consumer rights

Nothing here excludes consumer remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, wilful misconduct or negligence where it cannot be excluded. The service is provided as available; we do not promise uninterrupted access or real-time knowledge of every factory batch.

Law and disputes

Indian law applies. Please contact us first, but nothing stops you going straight to a competent consumer commission, regulator or court. Subject to those rights, courts in Gurugram, Haryana are the contractual forum. We will notify material changes and ask for fresh agreement where required.
